Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Priyank Kharge informed that the vacant posts of Gram Panchayat Development Officer (PDO) and Gram Panchayat Secretary will be filled through direct recruitment.
BJP member Shashil G. Answering Namoshi’s question, he said that the process of recruiting 150 PDO posts, 135 PBJP member Shashil G. Answering Namoshi’s question, he said that the process of recruiting 150 PDO posts, 135 Panchayat Secretary Grade-1, and 343 Secretary Grade-2 posts under direct recruitment is being started. Total 660 PDO, Gram Panchayat Secretary Grade-1604*, and Gram Panchayat Secretary Grade-2 719 posts are vacant in the state. He assured that these will be filled on a priority basis.
