Role Details ;
Selected Candidates will be placed in the above mentioned positions either in the Metal or Coal mines of Tata Steel

Post Name/Educational Qualification;
Must have completed full time degree in B.E / B Tech / B Sc (Engg) in the Mining Engineering
from AICTE recognized colleges / UGC approved universities along with First/ Second Class
Mines Manager Certificate of Competency (Metal/ Coal) issued by DGMS
Or
Must have completed MSc (Geology / Applied Geology) / M. Tech (Applied Geology) / M.Sc.
Tech (Applied Geology) from AICTE recognized colleges / UGC approved universities
Software Knowledge;
Candidates having knowledge of softwares like ARC-GIS / AUTOCAD / SURPAC/ MINEX/
SPRY or familiarity with usage of field equipment like Brunton, GPS etc will be preferred.
Relevant Expereince;
Candidates must have relevant expereince of 2 to 12 years in Mining , Mine planning or Geology
roles.

1. Female candidates not having Second Class Mines Manager Certificate of
Competency(Metal/Coal) can also apply , if they are eligible for the certificate.
2. Preference will be given to the candidates who are a domicile of the State of Jharkhand and
Odisha.
