Reservation for Firefighters(Agniveer) in Railways
New Delhi: In the direct recruitment of various departments in the railway department, the percentage of non-gazetted posts for Firefighters(Agniveer) . It is learned that the important decision of 15% cumulative reservation, age relaxation and exemption from fitness tests has been taken.
There is also a policy of reservation for Firefighters(Agniveer) in Railway Protection Force (RPF). Firefighters are exempted from physical fitness tests and age relaxations.
It has been agreed to relax the existing age limit of five years for the first batch of Firefighters(Agniveer) and three years for subsequent batches and for various communities.
Railway Recruitment Agencies (Railway Recruitment Boards, Railway Recruitment Cells) It is learned that the Railway Board has written to all General Managers to provide these relaxations and facilities in the recruitment of Pay Level-1 and Pay Level-2 and Payroll from the open market.
